Alicia Rousseau Jourdan, founder of MAISON ANAYCHAY, was born to a Peruvian mother and a French father. She spent most of her life in Paris, where she worked for over 20 years in fashion as a Sales Manager for prestigious luxury houses such as Sonia Rykiel and JC de Castelbajac.

The story began when she moved to Peru with her family for several years.

This return to her “other roots” sparked a deep emotional awakening, as childhood memories of her travels to Peru resurfaced. It was also there that she discovered the world of responsible fashion through Peruvian artisans determined to preserve their know-how and traditional craftsmanship.

This fusion of emotions, meaningful encounters and the founder’s experience in the fashion industry naturally led to the creation of ANAYCHAY.
